BELLVA EO ADP 2018 SUCCESSFUL HELD FACE PAINTING COMPETITION

 

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on society, especially in their activities. Restricting activities outside as an effort to reduce the transmission of the Covid-19 virus requires people to remain productive even though they only do activities at home. The Bellva Event Organizer, which is one of the Event Organizers formed by 2018 Office Administration students, provides a solution for people who have creativity in face painting but are confused about channeling that creativity by holding a "National Face Painting Competition". Bellva Event Organizer managed to hold a Face Painting 2020 event with the theme "A Puzzle Piece of the Archipelago". This online event succeeded in reaching a wider range of participants, as evidenced by the involvement of participants from 9 provinces, namely, South Sulawesi, Bali, Papua, Jambi, DKI Jakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, Central Java and West Java. Bellva EO itself is an EO formation from the event organizer course which is led by Rr. Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma and the face painting competition is the final project of the EO course.

The peak event which was held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 via Zoom Meeting was attended by all 2018 Office Administration students, several Office Administration students 2019, Lecturers of the Office Administration Study Program, participants in the Face Painting Competition, Conversation Sharing Participants and other interested people. in the event. In addition to the announcement of the competition, this event was also filled with sharing talks with Nia Ingrid. Nia Ingrid is an influencer with expertise in the field of face painting and has been in the world of face painting for many years, when she first joined the theater community on her campus.

In accordance with the theme of A Puzzle Piece of Nusantara, this event took place with joy and excitement without any limitations on the scope of the institution. All participants of the competition created works through videos which were then uploaded on social media (instagram) and then judged by the speaker, namely Nia Ingrid as jury 1, Mr. Dr. Drs. I Wayan Suardana, M.Sn. as a Lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts as jury 2 and Mrs. Eni Juniastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd. as a lecturer in the beauty department as a jury 3. The judging is based on 5 categories of assessment which include creativity, theme suitability, video quality, philosophy and number of likes. Then with the assessment guidelines, 3 winners with the highest ratings were taken. 1st place was won by Veranita Yulia Manuari Suratno from Karanganyar, Central Java with a work entitled Indonesia. 2nd place was won by Angelisa Oeynardi from Surabaya, East Java with a work entitled Piece Of Nusantara. 3rd place was won by Anastasia Berliana from Jakarta with her work entitled Indonesia Kaya.

The success of the event could not be separated from the hard work of the committee who had prepared the event as well as possible. In the future, I hope that events like this will always be held and be more lively because events like this are eagerly awaited by every participant who has talent and interest in the field of painting, which may be confused for them to channel their talents. With events like this one can also increase knowledge and share knowledge and experiences from other participants and from speakers.
