BELLE ROSES EO ADP 2018 PRESENTS THE SING FROM HOME CONTEST

The Sing From 2020 Competition is an event organized by the Belle Roses Event Organizer, which is the first time this event has been held. The purpose of holding the competition is as a place to develop talent in music during the Covid 19 pandemic as it is today. In addition, this event is to fulfill the task of the event organizer course which is led by Rr Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma, S.A.B. M.Si.

            The Sing From Home 2020 Competition has started a month ago, but the peak and closing event was held on Saturday, November 28, 2020. This event was held online through a zoom meeting, considering the unfavorable situation and conditions due to the pandemic. The terms and conditions in this competition are free, there are only restrictions in terms of age. Then there is a registration fee which is considered reasonable because it sees the amount of prizes that can be received if you get a winner. Furthermore, the judging in this competition is carried out by three judges who all have experience and knowledge in music, the three judges are, Clarissa Yovianingtyas, S.Ab., MBA as a lecturer in the Department of Administrative Education, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University, Christofani Charentcia S, S.Tr.Sn, who graduated from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, and finally Dendy Derganata Gustria, S. Ab, is a practitioner in choral music. In the third peak event, the jury also became resource persons who shared experiences about music to all participants at the same time who attended the peak event. The winners of the group favorites are Group (Mouglar's), the favorite solo winner is Fahrilla Finesha S, the third winner is Dias Yesica Hossananda, the second winner is Agus Huda, the first winner is Shafira Adhnia Shafca (duo).

The highlight of the Sing Frome Home 2020 Contest started at half past ten, then continued with an opening by the MC to mark the start of the event. Then proceed with praying that the event will run smoothly and produce the desired output. After that, it was followed by remarks from the event organizer lecturer, the dean of the economics faculty, and the chairman of the committee. After that, there was a question and answer session from the three judges as resource persons. In the middle of the event interspersed with entertainment in the form of quizzes. Then the next event was the reading of the nominations and the winners accompanied by the screening of cover videos from the participants. Finally, the event closed with prayers and thanks from the entire committee.

          The Sing From Home 2020 competition received a good response from the wider community. This is evidenced by the large number of participants who have participated in the event. In addition, this event has a positive impact as a forum for developing musical talent, especially during a pandemic like today.
